Why is my registration date later than my transfer orientation date?

Once students register and attend new transfer orientation, their registration date will change. Students register for fall courses at the end of new transfer student orientation.

SDSU Parking Permit Purchase for New and Returning Students

Please visit the main SDSU Parking Services portal website. New fall students may purchase fall parking permits in July.

Where do I go for advising?

After new transfer orientation, all new transfer students are encouraged to connect with their major adviser before the add/drop deadline. Visit our major advisory directory. Please Note : Not all major advisers are available to see transfer students before new transfer orientation. Please check back for details, if you will register for summer 2020 courses.

Who do I contact if I have questions about my financial aid (grants, loans or scholarships)?

To find out more information about your FAFSA as well as grants, loans, and work study opportunities, please visit the Office of Financial Aid and Scholarships.

Summer Courses (new fall student): How do I begin taking summer courses before my first SDSU semester begins this fall?

New fall 2023 transfer students may enroll in summer 2023 courses. Transfer students must read the procedures on summer session instruction.
